About the event

As is typical for Rally Connex, the Rockhound Rally is a one day GPS guided tour but this time in the glorious Kawartha and Madawaska highlands region of Ontario. The ride consists of two routes, one for Adventure/dual-sport bikes (like the Kawasaki KLR650, Suzuki DR650, KTM Adventure 1190, Yamaha Super Tenere and BMW R1200Gs) and another for blue-plated dirt bikes  (i.e. much more aggressive, though there are three levels of difficulty to choose from).

The concept is a mix of trail riding with a scavenger hunt, with riders having to complete a mission / questionnaire sheet in order to achieve points to win prizes (optional). Riders can run it as a team or solo.

The rally is hosted at The Loon’s Call Campground & Cottage Resort near Cloyne. Rider’s Meeting is Friday night with the ride Saturday, ending Sunday morning, Lunch on the trail will be included in the cost of the event as well as your Saturday morning breakfast & BBQ dinner on Saturday evening.  Cost for the rally is $135 and includes your Saturday Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
