Just about everyone and their dog (and their dog’s best friend for that matter) has heard about the Dakar rally. And why not, as it’s the biggest and best-known rally in the world and it’s happening right now.
To date there are only six Canadians that have managed to complete the gruelling Dakar Rally. Patrick Trahan is one of those, being the only one of five Canucks to enter the 2010 Dakar on a motorcycle, and finish it. We asked you for some of your questions for Pat, and then came up with some of our own.

It took me a while to get accustomed to the dimly lit interior of the Deeley Harley-Davidson hospitality room. The usual trappings of a publicity machine were neatly laid out on the various tables a shiny coffee urn, clear pitchers of water and juice, press kits, and complimentary pads of paper for the absent minded journalists who forgot to bring their own.
