Buyer's Guide > Panigale V4
Colours shown may not be available in Canada.
Based on lessons learned from its race-winning MotoGP bike, the new Panigale superbike might run a V4 engine instead of its usual L-twin (or is that a V-twin?), but it still has the classic Ducati trademark—desmodromic valves. Like previous Panigale models, the engine is a major structural part of the chassis. Suspension is fully adjustable (43 mm Showa Big Piston forks up front, Sachs monoshock in back). There's a full set of electronic riding aids (launch control, wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control, etc.). An up/down quickshifter is standard. Overall, this machine takes Ducati's superbike design boldly into the future.
