The Adventure Sports version of the Africa Twin gets longer-travel suspension, a beefier skid plate, crash bars, and a larger-capacity fuel tank that is supposed to extend range to 500 km. It's intended to be set up for rougher off-road use right out of the box, and is also available with optional DCT at extra cost (it weighs more, too).
