Buyer’s Guide Model Detail

Can-Am has been making three-wheelers for several years now, but those machines weren't exactly low-priced. The new-for-2019 Ryker isn't cheap either, but it's much more affordable than previous Can-Ams. It's aimed at younger riders with less money in their pockets, and is priced at similar levels to what you'd pay for an entry-level made-in-USA motorcycle. However, if you want more – more power, a passenger seat, etc. – it's available, but at extra cost. The machine can be upgraded to a 900 cc inline triple engine, but that's going to set you back a couple of grand. In base form, you're still getting a lot of machine though, including an auto transmission, 4.5-inch display, and even traction control, stability control, hill hold control and ABS. And should you want to push the machine a little harder, not only can you upgrade the engine, you can also spring for the Rally Edition, which is built for mild off-roading.
