Not long ago, the idea of a BMW scooter was pretty far out there. Now, BMW has its 650 line, the C Evolution electric scooter, and this C400 X. It's a more modest machine than the others, and BMW has it made by Chinese manufacturer Loncin to keep costs down. Still, traction control and ABS are standard, so it's not a budget bike. Powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor, it should keep up with traffic just fine on all but the busiest highways.
