Help Biker Bob keep on traveling

Have you ever helped out a traveler? The motorcycle community is full of stories of riders helping other riders, by giving them a lift to a gas station, a place to stay, gas money, and so on.

If you live on the west coast, you might get a different sort of opportunity to help a fellow rider. If you’re at the beach, you just might meet Biker Bob.

Biker Bob is actually Hugh Roger Nesbitt, who lived on Vancouver Island. Biker Bob loved riding and going to motorcycle rallies, but unfortunately, he was killed in a crash in 2015. After that, his widow took an unusual step to ensure he continued his travels posthumously: she put his ashes in a bottle, and set it to sea.

Since then, Biker Bob’s been on a new adventure, riding the waves instead of pavement (although it seems he’s gone for a ride or two as well). Check out his story in the short film above!
