Corduroy Enduro runs this weekend

Canada’s biggest offroad race runs this weekend, with the Corduroy Enduro kicking off tomorrow.

The Cord runs September 20-22, out of Gooderham, Ontario. With classes for everything from the latest enduro hot-rods to vintage offroad classics, there’s something for everyone. It’s the 66th running of this event, and there’s a total of $12,000 in the prize purse up for grabs this weekend.

The main event is the finale of the National Enduro Championship, with Pros and Experts in a 400-km offroad race, held in 24 stages over three days. All other classes will do the usual Saturday-Sunday race.

With vendors, several race classes, a vintage show and more, it can be tough to keep track of everything that’s going on. There’s a fan guide at the Cord’s website, with some details on camping rules ($10 per vehicle) and information on the race classes and times as well. This schedule should also help you keep track of race times and other stuff that’s going on. The official program appears to be printable ahead of arrival at the race, so that’s your best bet for an overview of everything that’s going on, especially if you’re a newbie.
