When Indian released its news about the commemorative Scout models, it also announced new accessory bits for the Scout lineup. And, in a photo showing some of those accessories, you can spot an interesting background detail.
In the photo above, the machine behind the Scout is most definitely not a current Indian model, and it looks an awful lot like the Challenger touring bike that we’ve been expecting for weeks now.
From gossip gleaned from spy shots and other leaks, we’d expect the Challenger to be powered by an all-new liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin engine, possibly called the PowerPlus 108. Output is expected to around the 120 hp mark.
Of course, the other big detail is the massive frame-mounted fairing, a feature that has been a hallmark of the Harley-Davidson Road Glide line for years. Looks like Indian has its target straight in its crosshairs!
