Husqvarna FS450 is slightly reworked for 2020

Husqvarna has revised the FS450 supermoto for 2020, but the changes are minor.

The Husky’s engine is basically the same next year, with a technologically 450 cc single-cylinder still putting out 63 hp. The rest of the bike is also the same package, more or less, with a 103 kg dry weight, same as last year.

The biggest change to the FS450 is new suspension. Now, the supermoto runs WP’s 48 mm Xact suspension, with 280 mm of front fork travel, and 266 mm of rear wheel travel.

Traction control and launch control are still standard. As this is just a dirt bike with slicks, the onboard electronics are simple, same as you’d find on the knobby-equipped Husqvarna lineup.

The FS450 is not street-legal for 2020, as it’s designed to be an out-of-the box race machine, with Bridgestone slicks coming as standard equipment, along with massive Brembo front brake and Alpina wheels (17-inch front, 16.5-inch rear). We have not seen a Canadian MSRP or availability date yet, but the machine is on Husqvarna’s Canadian website.
