Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame announces 2019 inductees

The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for 2019.

This year, seven inductees will be honoured at a Toronto gala on November 2 (held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport & Conference Centre). 

Michael Taylor (pictured) earns his spot in the hall this year, along with competitors Clive Ng-A-Kien, David “Woody” Percival, and Wade Williams. Len Fitch is being introduced as a contributor to motorcycling, and the Oshawa Competition Motorcycle Club is being introduced as well. Percy McBride is posthumously entering the Hall as a historical inductee, as well as a contributor.

Canadian Legends will be honored at 14th Annual Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame Event

The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the class of 2019, scheduled for induction into the Hall at November 2 Banquet and Reunion at the Sheraton Toronto Airport & Conference Centre in Toronto, ON. Seven legendary Champions will be honored 14th annual celebratory event.

“It gives me great pride and pleasure to announce the 2019 class of inductees,” explained Paul Germain, Chairman of the Hall of fame.  “The 14th annual Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame Banquet and Reunion will recognize outstanding competitors, contributors and volunteers.  These individuals have shown passion and skill, as well as sacrifice, to make a positive impact on the world of motorcycling.

“Now these outstanding individuals and groups the respect and recognition they rightly deserve from the Hall of Fame,” continued Germain.  “All of the Directors, contributors and volunteers with the CMHofF, as well as myself, join together to welcome the class of 2019 into the Hall.  Congratulations to all!”

Tickets for the 14th annual Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Banquet and Reunion will soon be available at www.canmoto.ca.

Bar and Hedy Hodgson established the Canadian International Motorcycle Heritage Museum Foundation in 1999 and when Dave Lloyd came to them with the idea of a Motorcycle Hall of Fame, the Hodgson’s gifted the Foundation to the people.  In 2006, the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame was created to preserve and promote Canadian motorcycle history for the benefit of the motorcycling community and since then, over 130 distinguished motorcyclists and organizations have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.  The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit association with charitable status governed by an independent board of volunteer directors from across Canada.
