Racing roundup: Canadians at VIR

Once again, several Canadian riders tackled Moto America over the weekend, this time at Virginia International Raceway.

Nobody had what they’d consider was a great result; Braeden Ortt had the best finish of anyone, in Supersport. He earned a 6th in DNF-filled Race 1, and then 10th in Race 2.

Darren James was back in the Twins division, and he got a DNF. Alex Dumas never even made it that far; he crashed in practice, then again in qualifying, and hurt his hand badly enough that he didn’t start.

Then there’s Samuel Trepanier. Trepanier’s taking his pre-season prep for CSBK very seriously this year; this was his second weekend racing in the US. He finished 11th in both Superbike races, and we’d expect him to come charging hard out of the gate next weekend at Shannonville.
