Ride your bike and make a difference

Heroes Highway Ride and Rally
  • Trenton, June 1
  • In support of Canadian soldiers and first responders

Lou Devuono: “The Heroes Highway Ride was founded 11 years ago after we brought our 98th, 99th, and 100th soldier back from the Afghan conflict. I was standing on a bridge like so many Canadians to honour those fallen soldiers, and it occurred to me that we were doing a great job for our fallen heroes, but what about the ones that continued to serve, the ones injured in service, and their families? I wanted to do something to recognize them.

“The Heroes Highway ride was born out of that. It’s 100 per cent free. You come, sign a waiver, get on your bike, and ride along the Highway of Heroes from Trenton to Port Hope.”
