Good news, adventure riders—the Fundy Adventure Rally will return for 2019, once again running in southern New Brunswick.
This year’s rally dates are August 15-18, and once again, we’ll see a 500-km main rally route with legs of varying difficulties, as well as a shorter 250-km scavenger hunt route, along with demo rides, presentations and other ADV-centered stuff going on. No word yet on any official changes to the rally, or new or returning guests, but it looks like BMW is probably back as a sponsor, so this would be a good chance to get aboard a new GS for a test ride.
One big change we’re hoping for, but can’t guarantee, is dry weather, as Zac’s been soaked at the last two events and has been muttering something about buying a better rainsuit ever since this August’s failed attempt aboard a Yamaha TW200.
Anyway, one thing we’re sure of is that the event will be a whole truckload of fun (or should that be a pannier load?), and we’ll keep you posted as details come in.
