Suzuki announces technical details of RM-Z250

Suzuki’s announced the all-new RM-Z250 motocrosser already this year, and now we’ve got more information on the new machine’s technical details.

According to a press release from Suzuki’s American arm, the 2019 RM-Z250 gets more than just the suspension and chassis updates we mentioned earlier. Along with a restyling, the bike bike gets a new cylinder head, new dual-injector EFI system, and as we mentioned before, the traction control and holeshot assist systems have also been improved. The engine mounting configuration is also changed, to enable more agile handling.

The aluminum frame and swingarm have been lightened, and the suspension is supplied by KYB, with new coil-spring front forks. The brakes are also improved, with a larger front rotor and a more compact rear master cylinder.

The new RM-Z250 will be available in Canada in 2019; no Canadian MSRP has been announced yet.
