Go camping with MotoSocial

The MotoSocial motorcycle meet-ups have become one of the most popular two-wheeled events in the GTA in recent years, but now, organizers are taking things further for crowd in Ontario and Quebec: they’re organizing a camp-out.

Running at Picton Airfield in Prince Edward County on September 7-9, the weekend (officially dubbed CAMP) is a 1-2 punch. It’s a chance for people (everyone’s invited, even non-riders) to get outside the city and have fun, but it’s also a fundraiser for mental health initiative Jack.org. Organizers are hoping to raise $25,000 for Jack.org, and they’re already well on their way. As of this morning, they’d already raised more than $4,000.

As for the weekend’s camping, the MotoSocial site says “Registration is $150 per person, which includes: farm to table harvest dinner, 4 drink tickets, camp site for Friday & Saturday night, 1 raffle ticket, welcome gift bag, county route maps, onsite moto activities, moto film viewing, entertainment, and so much more!” Sounds like fun to us.

There will be MotoSocial group rides to the airfield campgrounds from Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto, so if you’re new to the whole road trip scene on two wheels, you’ll be among friends the whole way, if you want to be.
