Freddie Spencer, exotic bikes expected at Toronto’s Spring Motorcycle Show

Meet Freddie Spencer this weekend!

The lineup at this year’s Spring Motorcycle Show in Toronto will have a lot of the usual suspects show up, but this year, the show is also expecting a visit from Freddie Spencer.

Spencer was one MotoGP’s fastest riders in the 1980s, and he’s won the Daytona 200 as well. He’ll be in town for the spring show with his autobiography; you can buy a copy and get an autograph, or check out some of the panels he’ll be participating in.

Along with Spencer, the show organizers are also expecting to be featuring some classic and exotic bikes, including a 1916 Harley-Davidson as well as a Lotus hyperbike.

Of course, the dealer displays will return this year, along with more than 100 retailers selling equipment, gear and parts. There will be a used bike market and a ‘Pickers Market’ with used parts & NOS stock for American, British, European and Asian motorcycles. And of course, there will be stage shows, and displays by clubs/charities/rallies, along with racing bodies, all helping you get your summer riding planned.

This year’s Spring Motorcycle Show runs April 7-8 at the Toronto International Centre tickets are $18 for adults, $5 for youths (6–12), free for kids under 6. It’s presented by Riders Plus Insurance; autoTRADER.ca and Canada Moto Guide are show partners for 2018. For more details, visit the show’s website.
