LCR Honda’s MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow has undergone surgery for a severed tendon in his finger.
Crutchlow had the procedure done at an Italian hospital earlier this week, after cutting the index finger on his left hand. In a press release, Crutchlow said he’d severed the tendon, and had it re-attached.
Unlike Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi, who’s out this weekend with a broken leg, Crutchlow plans to ride at Misano on Sunday with a splint, acknowledging it will be difficult, but that he “will try one hundred percent as always.”
