The Scout was already the smallest bike in the Indian lineup, but the new Bobber variant is just a bit more svelte.
The Bobber takes the standard Scout and only changes the recipe slightly: The fenders have been cut down, the headlight, gauges, handlebars, exhaust and other parts get the blacked-out treatment and the bike has been lowered an inch (cartridge forks up front, shorter rear shocks). The tires have been replaced by knobbier rubber (like the cool kids are putting on their customs these days). The seat has been reworked a bit.
Aside from those slight adjustments, there’s not much difference between the Bobber and the standard Scout. It’s certainly not as radical a design philosophy as Triumph’s Bobber model. The new Indian Scout Bobber uses the same engine as the standard Scout model, and only weighs around a couple kg less.
Despite the blacked-out look of the bike, the Scout Bobber will cost more than the standard model (typically, blacked-out cruisers are sold at a discount rate). The Canadian site lists five paint options for the Indian Scout Bobber, at a $14,499 MSRP. For the sake of reference, the standard Scout is available in seven different colours and has an MSRP of $13,999.

If they moved the footrests and controls back about a half a metre that might help….
Always liked the Scout but can’t say I’m interested in this version.
However If a Sport Scout or ( dare I even say it?) a FTR 750 street version would show up then Polaris would definitely get my attention.
