This weekend, stream the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb live

Ducati is racing ahead, with great sales growth, while many lower-priced competitors are still trying to find traction in the market.

Roadracing fans can tune into the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb this weekend as it broadcasts a live stream video through Matchsports.com at no charge.

The deal to broadcast the PPIHC was announced last February. The Pikes Peak race is very difficult to broadcast live, due to the location. The elevation at Pikes Peak is a particularly tough problem to work around, but the broadcast gurus of Matchsports.com say they’ve figured it out, and now there’s a 10-year broadcast deal in place, with an aim towards a TV contract.

Of course, that will likely cost money for some sort of channel subscription, but for now, the event is free to watch at Matchsports.com (live.matchsports.com/ppihc.html is the full link to the PPIHC broadcast). The broadcast starts Sunday, June 25, at 7:30 Mountain Standard Time. Sports/travel anchor Ramona Bruland and former racer and PPIHC board member Frederick Veitch will host the broadcast, and journalist Don Canet and former PPIHC champion Carlin Dunne will also provide commentary.

Be warned: There are a lot of cars at the PPIHC, so don’t just expect to tune in and see bikes in action at any given time.
