Don’t forget: If you want to sign up for this year’s Dawn 2 Dusk rally, you’d better do it soon, because the rally runs Saturday.
The Dawn 2 Dusk runs in Ontario this summer; it’s a revival of the small bike rally that CMG originally ran in the Maritimes, originally for motorcycles 250 cc and smaller. The eastern version ran in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
This year’s rally is open to bikes 500 cc and smaller, and starts Saturday at the Honda Canada headquarters in Markham. Riders will start out daybreak, and ride a 600-km route through some of Ontario’s best back roads. There’s an awards banquet at the end of the day, which is covered under the event’s $100 entry fee.
