Yamaha recall

Recall #: 2017091
Models Involved: 2015-2016 Yamaha YZF-R3
Number of Vehicles: 2706
Problem: On certain motorcycles, engine vibration can cause the fuel tank fitting bracket to contact the fuel tank. Over time, this contact may cause fatigue cracking and could result in possible fuel leakage, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. In addition, it is possible for water to contaminate the main switch and develop corrosion, which may cause the engine to stall while riding.
Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank bracket and the main switch subassembly with parts of a different design.
