Check out Hangar 17 at the Montreal Motorcycle Show this weekend

Along with the usual blend of motorcycle manufacturers showing their new-for-2017 bikes and distributors flogging helmets and other gear, you might want to check out Hangar 17 at the Montreal Motorcycle Show this weekend.

Hangar 17 (presented in conjunction with ONELAND) is a corner of the show devoted to the DIY/handbuilt custom bike scene. It’s a hangout for bobber, chopper and cafe racer fans, with a bar and a DJ, and a few bikes on display.

We haven’t heard of any custom parts for sale, but some local independent brands will be flogging T-shirts and the like.

Adults get in to Montreal for $15.50, seniors (65+) and students pay $12, Juniors (6-14) pay $11, and children under 6 get in for free. Doors open at noon today and close at 10 PM. The show runs 10 AM – 9 PM Saturday, and 10 AM – 5 PM Sunday. More details on exhibitors are available here.
