AltRider introduces Dual Control Brake System for Africa Twin

Aftermarket manufacturer AltRider has adapted its Dual Control Brake System for the Honda CRF1000 Africa Twin.

The idea behind the Dual Control Brake System (already available for some other adventure bikes) is simple, but it answers what’s been an age-old problem for some adventure riders: How do you adjust your rear brake pedal to work while standing up, and sitting down?

AltRider’s attachment adds a two-position tip to the brake pedal, offering a pretty simple solution. In theory, this now allows riders to easily tap their rear brake no matter their riding position.

Cost is around $100 US, a bit pricy considering the low tech involved. Find more details at AltRider’s website here.
