Ducati confirms SuperSport and other upgraded bikes to unveil at Intermot

Ducati fans will get an earlier-than-expected peek at the company’s new SuperSport at this week’s Intermot show, and see upgrades to other bikes in their lineup.

Typically, Ducati waits until the EICMA show in Italy to reveal its new wares, but the SuperSport will break cover this week at the show in Germany instead.

Ducati did not announce the specs or release an official photo for the SuperSport. Jensen Beeler, on his excellent Two Enthusiasts podcast, said he saw the bike at World Ducati Week, and it was a sort of sport-touring arrangement; he also ran some spy shots of it here at his site Asphalt & Rubber.

As for the other bikes: Ducati says the Monster 821 and Diavel are now Euro4 compliant, for whatever that’s worth. The 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S now get Ducati’s latest EVO version of traction and wheelie control, previously only available on the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario.

Ducati’s Mulstistrada 1200 lineup gets a new airbox, and some engine tweaks, which are said to offer better mid-range power delivery.
