British trials/endurocross rider Dougie Lampkin is attempting a wheelie around the Isle of Man’s Mountain Circuit this weekend, and you can watch it live.
Lampkin’s already a YouTube star (and more importantly, a 12-time World Trials champ), and he regularly films stunts for the Red Bull channel, usually involving some sort of hooning on a trials bike. However, Saturday’s attempt is particularly ambitious, as the winds around the Isle of Man TT course make a non-stop wheelie very challenging. Of course, even without crosswinds, a 59.5-km wheelie isn’t exactly easy anyway.
Lampkin will attempt the stunt on a 300 cc two-stroke trials bike, with special gearing. He figures it will take him about two hours to get around the course.
