Katsayuki Nakasuga, the Yamaha test rider who was part of their last two winning teams at the Suzuka 8-Hour, will be racing at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Nakasuga’s day job is a gig with the Yamaha factory team in the All Japan Road Race Championship, where he’s currently sitting on a 10-race winning streak in the JSB1000 series. He’s raced five previous Japanese GPs, earning a podium in 2012 and a top-10 finish in 2015. He’s currently en route to his fifth straight championship there, the seventh of his career.
Nakasuga will ride a YZR-M1 for for the Yamaha Yamalube squad.
