MV Agusta is a bit ahead of the ball game – it’s just released finished photos of the customized F4 sportbike, the F4Z, which was supposed to break cover in September.
Now that we can see the result of the collaboration with Zagato design house, the debate can begin. Beautiful, or ugly?
It’s hardly a revolution along the lines of, say, the original Suzuki Katana, but it will be interesting to see if this is a direction MV Agusta heads. The fluid lines of the bodywork stand in direct contrast to the angular styling that’s so popular among Transformers fans sportbike designers today.
Or is this really just a fun one-off, designed to draw interest to the company at the same time management looks for new investment money? Maybe we’ll know more by EICMA, but for now, at least we’ve got the photos that show what’s been hyping all summer.

uglier than sin
I wish it were behind schedule….
What’s Italian for ‘schedule’ ?
Neat design exercise, but it looks like they just gave up when it came to drawing out the seat…
Yawn…. again…..
