This is what KTM’s RC16 MotoGP bike will look like

KTM officially unveiled its RC16 MotoGP machine at the Austrian GP on Saturday, giving the public its first official look at the machine.

The RC16 is going to undergo testing at Misano next weekend (it also ran around the Austrian track), and is going to officially debut as a wild card in the last race of the season in Valencia, with Mika Kallio on board. The bike will go through four official MotoGP tests before that point.

Next year, Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith of Yamaha’s Tech3 satellite team are leaving to race the KTM, joining Kallio and test pilot Alex Hoffman.

  1. What new idea is going to make the v4 work? Suzuki and Ducati gave up on it. The vfr of 90s US Superbike only won because of Honda.’ s massive budget. Not one privateer ran the vfr.
