The Pikes Peak International Hillclimb ran this past weekend, with Corsican rider Bruno Langlois taking his Kawasaki Z1000 to the fastest overall time for any motorcycle.
Langlois set a
lap, finishing first in the Heavyweight category. Right behind him was Don Canet, piloting a Victory Empulse RR to second overall (first in the Electric category), with a lap. It was a good day for Victory, with Jeremy Toye taking the Project 156 racer finishing third overall with a lap.Canet’s finish once again proves electric bikes are a perfect fit for the Hillclimb, with the changing elevation no hindrance to their power output.
