The Canadian Superbike championship series is back on broadcast television, with a return to TSN for the 2016 season.

Each of the season’s seven races (five weekends, including two double-headers) will be broadcast as half-hour episodes. Each episode will include the feature Pro Superbike race, and highlights from supporting races (Pro Sport Bike, Amateur Superbike, Amateur Sport Bike). Frank Wood will handle announcer duties.

TSN originally ran the CSBK races from 1995 to 2010. In recent years, the races have been available to watch free of charge on YouTube; their press release does not indicate whether that will continue. It does say lap-by-lap coverage of both the Pro Superbike and Pro Sport Bike will be available on the CSBK site after the races air on TSN, so if you don’t have cable/satellite and want to watch the action, it will be possible if you have an Internet connection.

  1. I think Bein sports is also carrying Motogp and WSBK, I hope this is true for Canada and I might subscribe even though Bell wants $15 a month for that one channel.
