Motorcycle show returns to Moncton this weekend

This weekend, the Moncton Motorcycle & ATV Show once again returns to the Hub City, giving motorsports fans across the Maritimes a chance to check out 2016 models.

The last few years, the Moncton show has been snowed out. After three consecutive blizzard blastings that either shortened the show or kept customers away, it could use a boost in business for 2016; however, it seems there’s a drop in exhibitors again this year. You can see the floor plan of this year’s exhibitors here.

Once again, the Yamaha Riding Academy returns, giving kids aged 6-12 a chance to learn riding skills. Clinton Smout will give a riding demonstration, and there’s a trials demo as well. Friday night is Ladies Night, with admission half-price for women after 5 PM, as well as a chance for them to win a Kawasaki Ninja 300. Find out more details about the show’s goings-on here.

The show’s doors are open 12-9 PM Friday, 10 AM-8 PM Saturday, and 10 AM-5 PM Sunday. As always, it’s at the Moncton Coliseum on Killam Drive (with free parking). Admission is $12.50 for adults, $9 for seniors (65+), $8 for juniors (6-12), and a family pass (two juniors, two adults) costs $33. Advance tickets bought online are $11.

  1. I’ve been going every year since 2010…last year was not good, and I questioned whether it was worth the drive from Fredericton. Unless I’m bored out of my tree this weekend, I’ll take a pass I think.
