Shannonville is back on the list, but Edmonton has been dropped from the 2016 Canadian Superbike championship series.
As it traditionally did, the series kicks off at Shannonville; this year, the first weekend is May 27-29. From there, the series travels to St-Eustache on the June 24-26 weekend. Then there’s a double-header at Shubenacadie (the first double-header at the eastern track since 2010), and as usual, the season ends with a double-header at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (a.k.a. Mosport) in Bowmanville, ON.
CSBK mastermind Colin Fraser says the series would still like to add another venue, and thanked Edmonton’s WERA club for their support in the past couple years. However, for now, the series doesn’t have any western Canadian dates.

Time to rename it ECSBK ?
Looks like that’s what it is going to be. Colin says they’d like another venue, but no Edmonton race and no other western race scheduled.
