Honda recall

Honda's VFR1200F may not look that different, but additions like traction control and a dual-clutch transmission should keep users happy.

  1. Only heard of one example in VFR forums that I frequent of an actual fail. Otherwise, some did complain about noise, and on some reviews I heard complaints about lash. On mine (and the other one I rode) there was absolutely zero lash and no shaft jacking at all (which was present on my R1150). Hopefully the recall won’t buger it up! Love the VFR’s shaft, though I’d estimate it added atleast 40+ pounds, but at least it’s carried down low.

Come to think of it, shaft spline failures was fairly common on BMW forums.
