Video: More Husqvarna 701 madness

We know the Husqvarna 701 supermoto is supposed to come to Canada this winter. Here’s a look at what to expect when the bike arrives here, in the video above.

Built around the KTM 690 platform, the Husky offers a combination of high performance (that motor puts out 67 hp at 7500 rpm, and makes 50 ft-lb of torque at 6000 rpm, in a 43-lb pound package!) and street-friendly reliability (hello, 10,000 km valve adjustments!). Other treats we know about are a slipper clutch and ride-by-wire electronics. This ain’t your classic “slap street tires on a dual sport” supermoto!

You can see our past coverage of the bike here. It was officially announced at EICMA last year, but Husqvarna has been teasing this machine for a long time now. It’s going to be interesting to see if the real-life version can live up to all the wheelie-driven hype when they hit public roads next spring.
