Ontario company plans new motorcycle web video channel

According to a piece on Cartt.ca, there’s a new motorcycle-centred web video channel coming soon in Canada, and one of the men behind it should be very familiar to Canadian viewers already.

David Hatch, who’s hosted Motorcycle Experience on TSN since dinosaurs roamed the earth, is one of the people behind TableRock Media. This Toronto-based startup plans to launch specialty web video channels in 2016, delivering content that’s focused on a narrow audience. The three partners behind the original plan are launching three channels, initially — one focusing on aviation, one focusing on guitars, and one focusing on motorycles.

Watchers will be able to subscribe to as many or as few channels as they want. The content will mostly be produced by the TableRock team, under their current plan. You can find out more about their ideas for the future here. Along with their video content, they plan to allow subscribers access to “exclusive events, engagement through social media and forums to build a community around people with passions.”

The video content will be available on mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.) as well as video game consoles and other similar devices when it launches.

  1. Forget the content of the article – I’m always uplifted by a photo of the Yamaha XSR700. Hope it doesn’t go the way of the Sakura, and sink without trace. One of the few designs from Yamaha where the stylist wasn’t visually or mentally impaired.
