Ontario museum selling stash of Evel Knievel memorabilia

Will Ed Beckley succeed where Evel Knievel failed?

Do you have a hole in your life that can only be filled by Evel Knievel memorabilia? If so, a museum in Niagara Falls has a deal just for you.

Evel Knievel is hot news these days; there’s at least one biopic about the motorcycle daredevil on the horizon, put together by Johnny Knoxville, and Channing Tatum and Darren Aronofsky are supposedly teaming up for another one. But while the made-in-America hero is well-known for his star-spangled jumpsuits and his endorsements for Harley-Davidsons, an Ontario museum is actually home to some of his most famous equipment.

One piece in the collection at the Old Emporium & Exposition stands out in particular: The Skycycle. The remains of this rocket ended up at the Niagara Falls museum after Knievel failed to jump the Snake River Canyon in the vehicle, and now it’s for sale, along with a bunch of other Knievel memorabilia they’ve collected — it seems like they might be changing their business plan, or closing their Knievel museum. You can find out more information in their YouTube video below.
