Transport Canada have issued a massive recall of over 8,000 Honda motorcycles due to potentially faulty starter relay switches. According to Transport Canada the switch’s sealant may have been incorrectly applied at time of manufacture which could ultimately cause the electrical system to shut down, resulting in a potential crash or even fire.
The full list of affected models are shown below. If you have one, you should take it to your local Honda dealer who will inspect the relay and replace if necessary.
