Video: More hot cafe racer tips from Ichiban Moto

Over the past few months, we’ve kept you up to date on Ichiban Moto’s hot tips for building a cafe racer, which frequently include surprisingly helpful hints on ways to save money around your shop. Here’s one of those tidbits of advice.

Ever looked in your Canadian Tire flyer at angle grinders on sale for $40 and thought, “Hey, I can do better than that”? According to Ichiban Moto, you can. All you need is a coffee can lid, some kitty litter, some “standard motorcycle assembly tape” and a brace and bit.

The results, as always, are just the thing to inspire any skinny-jeaned cafe racer wannabe builder to heights of greatness. Hey, we can’t wait to see Ichiban’s creation when he’s done … At the end of this video, he says he’s about to powdercoat his frame. Surely the other “four stroke-to-two stroke” engine conversion project can’t be far behind?
