Olympic speedskater Denny Morrison is recovering in hospital after a motorcycle crash last week.
The crash, which took place last Thursday, left Morrison with a fractured femur. He’s had a metal rod inserted in his leg to help the bone heal.
His motorcycle struck a Toyota Corolla with enough force to flip the vehicle over. Supposedly, he won’t be able to walk for several weeks, and won’t be able to train for months.
Police haven’t laid charges in the crash yet, but news reports say Morrison could face charges after investigation.
Morrison won gold at the Vancouver Winter Olympics, and has also won silver and bronze medals.
