But, regardless of what day of the week it is, if your spirit is being crushed by the 8-5 grind, you might be able to find some release in this video put together by a group of Finnish riders (Jyri Koski, Marko Willig, Joni Leikas) who decided to film their little jaunt across Russia and Mongolia.
Even though it’s 20 years since the Mondo Enduro team filmed their trans-Russian adventures, it’s refreshing to see the people there are still just as helpful as ever. And when the Finns get to Mongolia, it’s easy to see why globecrossers who’ve traveled there always rank it as one of their favourite countries to travel. Camels, yurts, landscapes straight from Mad Max … sure beats the daily office grind.
Just don’t let your boss catch you watching while you’re supposed to be working, or you might suddenly find yourself with lots of spare time to take this trip for yourself. Maybe that would be a good thing.
