CBS MotoAmerica TV broadcast to run after delay

If you’ve got the CBS Sports channel on your TV package, you should be able to enjoy AMA roadracing this summer, but you’re going to watch it late.

CBS Sports is broadcasting the new MotoAmerica series, but you won’t be able to watch last weekend’s opener from the Circuit of the Americas until next Sunday. The first race runs a week delayed, on April 19 at 6:30 PM (ET). There will also be MotoAmerica TV replays on April 22 and 25, at 9:30 PM and 10 AM ET respectively.

The second round of races will run 5 PM ET on  April 26 at 5 p.m., once more after a week’s delay. It’s unclear how much longer CBS will pursue this policy, as MotoAmerica claims they’re going to introduce live Internet streaming of their races, which would surely be more interesting to most roadracing fanatics. Video highlights are available at their site right now.

Canadian customers should be able to catch CBS Sports on  Bell Fibre TV channels 413 and 1413.
