Problem: On certain motorcycles, the shift cam segment stopper on the transmission may not have been manufactured properly. This could cause the stopper to crack and break overtime which could result in a missed shift or engagement of a different gear than intended.
Correction:Â Dealers will replace the shift shaft assembly with an updated version.
