The Vintage Road Racing Association will appear as a support event at the Canadian Superbike opener at Calabogie.

According to the CSBK press release, Period Four machines will race at Calabogie, with practice Friday, a qualifier Saturday and race on Sunday. The class rules allow bikes “up to and including model year 1989, and is open to production based and GP machines,” so you could see anything from an early Ninja 600 or 750 to a Honda RC30 or Yamaha RZ350 – let your imagination run wild.

The cooperative fun could happen again later in the summer. The CSBK press release says organizers are talking to the VRRA to see if they can team up again at other events in 2015.
