Here in the western world, we’re told we need a big adventure bike with long-travel suspension to see the world. But as this video shows, that isn’t necessarily the case.
This clip (there are several others by the same creator, mostly high in the Himalayas) shows a trip down the Leh-Manali Highway by a Royal Enfield; the music is a tad annoying, but the view isn’t. You can see some more photos from this trip on this website, and if you can read Russian, you can learn more about the author’s exploits, which seem to somehow tie a love of mysticism and motorcycling together. Robert Pirsig would be so proud.
Great video! You’re right, the music is annoying. But in his defense, most motorcycle video music is annoying.
