New Honda Forza 125

Honda's new Forza is going for the sporty side

Honda has announced a new 125 Forza scooter at the Paris Auto show.

Framing it to be a more sporty ride, claimed power output from its liquid-cooled four-valve single cylinder motor is 10.5kW (14 hp)  @ 8,750 rpm, with peak torque of 12 Nm (8.9 ft-lbs) @ 8,250 rpm, which is not too spotty. It also kills the motor after idling for more than 3 seconds (starting again when the twistgrip is turned) which helps it achieve a claimed 43.5 km/l fuel economy.

Wheels are 15 inch front and 14 at the rear and ABS is standard, lighting is by LED, the screen is adjustable and there’s 48 litres of storage room below the seat – enough for two helmets. Although Honda say the new bike as designed for the European rider, that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t see it here.

More info on that when we get it.
