Ducati to unveil Scrambler in July

A few days ago, Ducati confirmed rumours they were building a new Scrambler, but didn’t say when they’d officially unveil the machine. Now, they’ve given us a timeframe.

Ducati plans to unveil the new machine at World Ducati Week, July 18-20 at Misano World Circuit in Italy. Apparently, they’re going to offer “private viewings,” and later show the bike off on centre stage. During the original event where it was shown to factory employees, Ducati hauled in some beach furniture, surfboards and the like to create a funky part at their headquarters (seen above). They’re planning to do a similar beach party theme for the launch at Misano, so if you’re going and you want to see the bike, pack a Speedo.

You can find out more details about World Ducati Week here. You can see our original write-up on the Scrambler here; it seems it’s going to be powered by an air-cooled V-twin, and serve as the entry-level machine in Ducati’s lineup.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t a week normally have 7 days ?
    Just asking…
