Aerostich heads east

All-weather riding gear like the Aerostich R3 is made to shed water and dry out quickly, not something you'd typically find with leather.

Last year, Aerostich started taking their show on the road. Now, that show is headed east.

Instead of simply relying on mail order to sell suits, or waiting for customers to stop by their location in Duluth, Minnesota, Aerostich packed a load of merchandise on a truck last year and headed to an off-site location so riders could try the gear on in person and see how well it fit, instead of relying on measurements and guessing. The fact that Aerostich has been in business since the 1980s shows they had that system down-pat, but some folks wanted to try the stuff on to make sure.

Last year, Aerostich took their products to the west coast of the USA, and this year, they’re headed to the NYC area.

This is hardly a trip around the block for Canadian riders. However, if you live in Quebec or eastern Ontario and you want to try on Aerostich’s products, this might be the perfect opportunity to combine a visit to their pop-up event with an early spring tour of New England, where we assure you, the weather is nicer than it is in Canada. Along the way, you could check out Whitehorse Gear in Conway, NH, as well.

The Aerostich Pop-Up runs April 22-27 at 501 River Road, Edgewater, NJ 07020 in the Edgewater Commons Mall, right across the Hudson River from New York City. Aerostich reps will be on hand 10 a.m.-8 p.m. to help you get fitted for your new gear, and they’ll have examples of the new R3 suit on hand for testing as well. You can buy suits off the rack, or put in an order for a custom-fit Roadcrafter, or something else.
