New for 2014, the Super Tenere ES will set you back $17,499, and offers you electronically adjustable suspension from KYB that allows you to fine-tune your settings on the fly. Wheelbase, rake, trail and suspension travel are identical to the standard Super Ten’s specs, but the ES model weighs 265 kg wet, while the standard model weighs 261 kg.

The new ES will only be available in grey for 2014, and will be available in dealerships by the end of April.

The standard Super Tenere also received quite a few updates, shared by the ES model. The bike now makes more torque and horsepower (max torque is 86 ft-lbs. @ 6,000 rpm) thanks to tweaks to the EFI and exhaust system. The motor also got new pistons. The ES model will have the updated powerplant as well. Electronic gimmickry includes D-MODE, throttle-by-wire, and three-stage traction control.

The Super Tens both have an upgraded dash.

The new bikes should be comfortable to ride, thanks to a seat that’s adjustable for height, and a windscreen that’s four-way adjustable without tools, as well as cruise control. There’s also new aluminum handlebars, and heated grips are standard on the ES model. The machines both come with LED signal lights as standard, and the LCD dash display and switchgear are also new and improved.

The standard Super Tenere received a suspension update as well; it gets fully-adjustable 43 mm KYB USD forks in front. Its MSRP remains unchanged at $16,499.
