CMG’s spent a couple of Dawn to Dusk rallies aboard a Honda CRF250L, as well as a few days of test riding, and while we like the bike, we don’t like it’s limited fuel range. Now, IMS is addressing that problem.
IMS has come out with a 3.1-gallon fuel tank for Honda’s little dual sport. That’s 50 per cent more fuel than the stock two-gallon tank. It’s made of polyethylene, and is available in black or see-through colour schemes. Obviously, since it’s a plastic tank, your magnetic tankbag won’t work any more, but for riders who wish to take their quarter-litre Hondas a little farther afield, this could be worth checking out.
